History
For more than twenty years, Icoges has maintained high standards of quality for our schools. It is our belief that obtaining a higher education is not only about acquiring a theoretical and technical education but also helping students enrich their social and professional lives.
Traditional full-time studies program and Work-study program
Students enrolled in a two, three, or four-year program have the choice of either enrolling as a full-time student or enrolling in a work-study program.
In the event that you do not foresee being able to afford enrolling as a full-time student (i.e. the traditional approach to higher education including mandatory internships), or of you wish to try a new approach to higher learning, then we recommend that you consider a work-study program (Note: Work-study students spend two days per week at school and three days per week at work), which would allow you to earn the same degree as a full-time student, while at the same time acquiring valuable work experience.
Nonetheless, most students find that enrolling as a full-time student is easier and less physically demanding, allowing the student to completely focus on his or her studies.

This unique diversity of academic programs allows Icoges academic advisors to properly advise all new students as to their most appropriate academic program. Icoges’s many years of experience have also allowed it to be considered a leader in two-year vocational academic and training programs, by offering students 32 such programs extremely close to the professional world which awaits them.
A university degree is absolutely essential in today’s increasingly specialized professional world. Obtaining a university degree lends one a sense of personal accomplishment, but above all, it represents the main means towards accessing the professional world. Many thorough government studies have demonstrated that the more years one devotes to higher learning, the lesser are one’s chances of being unemployed (recent figures for France are: 7.3% unemployment rate for those who have a two-year university degree, and 6.4% unemployment rate for those with a three-year degree.)
