Qualities and skills of an Assistant Manager
A sense of organisation, autonomy, and discretion. Foreign language skills, for both communicating with other firms, for example, as well as bulding long-term relationships, is of additional benefit.
Objectives of the academic program
This academic program, principally based on the acquisition of organisational and communicative skills, treats all the support or delegating activities that an assistant manager will need in order to manage in his or her professional life. In addition to a complete knowledge of the world of a business, of management and of economic activity within a context of multi-cultural relationships, the student will learn how to anticipate, to innovate and to propose.
Career possibilities for those who have earned a BTS in Assistant Manager degree
The holder of a BTS in Assistant manager will work for a manager or a group of managers, for whom he or she assumes and intermediary role, or perhaps even mediation, with regards to internal and external relations, including in an international context. He might be made to manage a team of secretaries or to coordinate a project team. All types and sizes of organisations have the need to hire assistant managers: (companies, associations, administrations, other public and private organisations, domestic and international).
Their actual job titles are extremely varied depending on professional convention, on the organisation for which the holder of the diploma works, and of the relative weight of the delegated activities as well as the degree of responsibility. The following are some examples:

Candidates must possess a Baccalauriat ("Bac"(a French degree) or its equivalent (a high school diploma).
