BTS in Water Management Technologies

Introduction

For the BTS in Water Management Technologies academic program, the student must choose from one of the following three specialisations :

  • Water Management Technologies: for agriculture and for industry which applies regarding the choice of techniques and materials for irrigation and drainage, concerning the management of a hydraulic project.
  • Hydraulic Projects: analysis and performance of urban and agricultural applications which applies to the proper analysis of a project, civil engineering and hydraulic technology.
  • Management of water and purification services which enriches the analysis and the management of the networks of drinking water and purification, quality control of water and the commercial and administrative management of water services.

Degree awarded

Upon successful completion of all course requirements, the student is awarded with a BTS in Water Management Technologies degree (a state-sanctioned degree equivalent to "Bac+2").

Career possibilities for those who have earned a BTS in Water Management Technologies degree

The specialist in water management technologies is qualified for the following positions :

  • - Employee of a services company
  • - Highly qualified specialist in a research and analysis company
  • - Employee of a water services company (construction and maintenance of dams and dikes, drafting of water service plans, pump houses...)

He or she will study the processes of water management technologies from the purification to distribution phases.
